Still day 7 of our Madagascar trip:
In the evening we went back to the orphanage, where we gave lessons to the children. Today’s classes consisted of basic maths for the young kids as well as English vocabulary and conjunctions.
The kids were very motivated and concentrated. It was great fun teaching them!
Here some pictures of our eveing class:
David Lauf will be flying to Madagascar on 08th July for 8 weeks in order to do an internship as a volunteer at La Vision.
He will teach children at the school and the orphanage. In addition he will help with the distribution of clothes from our container and at our ophtalmology clinic.
Reports and further information will follow.
We wish you the very best and good luck. He hope that you will enjoy your time in Madagascar.
A year ago I spent my summer holidays working in Madagascar. It was a time I will never forget; something very special. I wanted what many young people my age are looking for: go abroad and experience something unknown, something new. For me this was Madagascar, an island which many only know through the cartoon.
