The twins which our donors have been supporting with the local nuns, since they were babies are growing up doing well at school. Well done girls 🙂
Finally the big day has arrived. After many discussions and lots and lots of paper work the container to Madagascar has been loaded today and will be shipped this week. Thank you to everyone for your generous donations! We will keep you posted when it arrives safely in Fort Dauphin.
Thanks to the donations collected at this year’s Christmas Markets we were able to organize a Christmas Celebration in Fort Dauphin for all the people in need that receive help from La Vision. Everyone helped with the preparations and had a wonderful time. We thank you all for your support as without it all this would not have been possible. La Vision wishes you a very happy and healthy new year!

Still day 6 of our Madagascar trip:
During the late morning we visited the catholic school. The nuns were happy to welcome us. We had a look at the building and the site belonging to the school. This was important for David, as he will give lessons here in the following weeks. We set up a timetable with the nuns for David. Following this the nuns invited us for a wonderful meal, which as every year was delicious. To celebrate our visit they even made a banana cake for us 🙂
Here are some pictures of our visit:

I wanted what many young people my age are looking for: go abroad and experience something unknown, something new. For me this was Madagascar, an island which many only know through the cartoon.
Our Charity Zumbathon has been a great success! We hoped for 40-50 people and were amazed by the amount of people who came. Besides the seven Zumba-Intructors, who came free of charge, we had a total of 85 participants who danced for Madagascar. We also had visitors who watched while enjoying a beer or one of our home-made cocktails. It was a great atmosphere and many people danced right till the end.
