This year Quentin’s trip to Madagscar took place in April. He checked on all our projects in Fort Dauphin, distributed food, spent some time with our kids at the orphanage and lots more. Check out the pictures from his experiences:

Still day 9 of our Madagascar trip:
In the afternoon we went to our ophtalmology clinic’s site, where we met up with Dr. Parfait. He gave us an insight into his work with the patients he treats free of charge.

Repaired wheelchairs
Day 9 of our Madagascar trip:
This afternoon we could return the repaired wheelchairs to their grateful owners. Thanks to our local team’s great work the wheelchairs look like they were new and work again.

Distribution of wheelchairs and walking aids
Still day 6 of our Madagascar trip:
In the afternoon we welcomed a group of handicapped people on our clinic’s site. Each one tried out different walking aids or wheelchairs and were then given the one that they felt most comfortable with.
Some of them came with wheelchairs that were broken but could be repaired. So we kept them to repair and can hopefully return them soon as good as new.
Here photos of today’s distribution:

Christmas & New Years Party 2013/2014
Thank you to our La Vision Team on site for organizing this event. The kids from the orphanage, the people from the handicaped home, all helpers and their families and everyone invited had a great time. The food was deliciuos and the kids enjoyed their goodies under the Christmas tree. What a great start to a hopefully healthy and successful new year 2014.
