Charity Concert with Kilema Quartett at Chalet Suizo
Straight after this year’s festival we had another highlight. Chalet Suizo, Kilema Quartett and La Vision welcomed everyone at another charity concert. Offering a typical menú/buffet accompanied by wonderful malagasy music. Our guests also had the chance to win some great prizes with our raffle tombola. What a great event. Thank you to the Chalet Suizo team, Kilema & Co. all helpers and of course our wonderful guests 🙂

New mattresses for the orphanage
Day 9 of our Madagascar trip:
A couple of days ago we went to the orphanage. Looking around we saw that some matresses had to be changed (they were torn, broken and dirty). So today we went to buy some new ones and brought them to the kids.

Day 4 of our Madagascar trip:
We were at the orphanage today, visiting “our” kids. Clothes and toys were distributed among everyone. The children were excited about all the new things. We also took a look at the house. Some points had already been improved/refrubished with the help of donations from La Vision. Other aspects still have an urgent need for action.
For example the dorm rooms: the mattresses in the childrens’ beds have already been partially exchanged. During inspection, we noticed that there are still about five to six dirty and broken mattresses. We will buy new mattresses for these beds shortly and exchange them at the next visit.
