Help for Third Age

Out of the many people living in poverty in Madagascar, life is often the hardest for the elderly. They are physically no longer able to pursue a job and therefor have no income. Often their partner has passed away, and their families cannot support them because they already struggle themselves.

These people have no home and live on the streets. They have no money to buy food, clothes or medication. It is a daily battle of survival.

This is how we help:
Presently we are supporting 10-15 elderly. In cooperation with the local nuns (who also run the public school) we have built  huts where they have a place to sleep. The nuns receive a monthly donation which is used to take care of these people.

Everyone is supplied with a warm meal a day and any medical care needed.
